Abstract: Cryoablation is a method of destroying lesions by rapid in situ freezing，and has been clinically applied in the treatment of many solid tumors and other common maxillofacial diseases in stomatology. Given the advantages of low trauma and few complications，cryoablation can bring good treatment results to patients，and has important clinical application prospects. This article reviews the research progress in cryoablation in the treatment of maxillofacial diseases，introducing the development，immune effects and clinical applications of cryoablation in the treatment of common diseases in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
